Connected, but alone?

I text as much as the next person (perhaps more) but my work and my social life provide plenty of opportunities for face-to-face encounters.  However, when I reflect on how comfortable I feel communicating digitally, I come to many of the same conclusions as does this speaker, Sherry Turkle who presents on the psychological implications of the connection to self and others in the digital age.
