I just started this book and already I'm in love with it. It's confirming everything I've felt my whole life about gender relations on the domestic front when children are added to the equation and how this affects every aspect of a woman's life from self-care to career success.

In her new book, All the Rage: Mothers, Fathers, and the Myth of Equal Partnership, Darcy Lockman includes quantitative as well as qualitative data to back up her findings regarding gender inequality and child rearing. She includes vignettes of real situations between couples illustrating the functionality, on a wide spectrum, of contemporary domestic partnerships involving children.
